HK airport security is kinda weak, the chances of getting these type of coral thru in a checked bag is very high.

Redirect your return flight back through HK and load that carryon up :fight2: .

Small, rare pieces, put me down for a couple of Dendro colonies. I'm in on this GB. ;)

You'd be my hero! :scratchch

Maybe that is why they don't want me to take pictures.

It's the Asian culture-most Asians would not like their stuff to be photograhped. For example, even model hobby shop owners would come out to tear down your camera if you shoot pictures of their display windows (including the ones facing the street)and police would not be on your side either. If you try this in Viet, you could end up in jail too if you accidentally shot some buildings that the govenrment don't want you to. Unfortuantely there is almost no way to tell what building they don't want you to take pictures at. Since I heard you are going to China, please take the same precautions when taking pictures in non-tourist area. Same with the wholesale area of the Japan. The toruist area is fine with pictures.

If corals, I think it will be OK but for fish, lobster ..... they will check if your flight is international (China not included). They see them ....fish bones..crab craws..in the scanner.

Nope, i was talking about fish, not saltwater, freshwater............ :)

It can be done........................ ;)

Great pics!!!!

Remind a lot of us who came from there of the good old days shopping for fish especially, the 6:00 am wholesale meet up.

Any ID on the pink ones?

Also are the orange ones Sun polyps? They look kind of different from the ones I have in terms of the shape of the skeleton. Do they open up ONLY in dim light or at night as well? Any luck finding the ones that open in the day time?
