I love the flow from the Vortech's but after visiting Kasei's how to see how great they were, one died in front of me...LOL. IMO they still have quite a few quality issues to work out.

i'm very happy with mine, no problems whatsoever. i like that it looks a lot nicer than the Tunze stream in my tank. want to get another vortech eventually.

I've got 4 now all with Battery Backups and all are running smoothly with no problems. If you are considering the BB let me know as there may be 1 left over from the MR GB. Randy

you don't angle it, the spread of the flow is supposed to be wide enough so that is not necessary.

Mshur-- I don't think they will run GB on the Vortech
mmike-- They will not accommodate 1" glass or acrylic as of now, but they are working on a version for this purpose.
