NAUI certified for 7 years now. Try do do a little lobstering in the Keys when I have a chance, (read:not since 1998), but getting certified was the best $200 I've ever spent. It's like being the size of a Matchbox car and dropping it into my tank.

At least I dive once a year, even if it is in the Gulf or in a spring, sometimes in the Keys, and from this July 21st-July 30th... in Puerto Vallerta, Mexico!!!!!!

NAUI & YMCA certified since 1984, man I'm gettin' old. Actually I have an 11 yr. old who'll be gettin' his Junior NAUI in mid August. I understand that this is a relatively new thing. He's really excited; so am I. Cheers, Ed

Took a c-course a year and a half ago, since then also took wreck diver, rescue diver, and night diver courses. Also been a rescue diver (rescue squad) since day one of cert. I dive at least every 2 weeks (sometimes just in a lake for practice). Enjoy and remember.... In the ocean you are no longer at the top of the food chain

How many scuba divers do we have?
I dove in the late seventies and early eighties (teenager at the time BTW). Ivy has signed us up for PADI certifacation in august. Can not wait to spend another week at John Pennicamp coral Reef park in November. It was great free diving Molasses reef, It should be ten times better with tanks.

Side note We brought two Echinaster sentus sea stars back with us today while scalloping. Thanks to Susan for the ID.

I am working on the scuba diving thing, but am taking classes still - very basic level. No oceans to dive in Missouri, so no rush.

I have been diving since 1988. I have been to Key Largo several times, Lahoya California for wreck diving, Grand Caymen for the Sting ray city and the north wall dive which was my favorite place. I try to go at least once a year but have not been in two years.

Got my PADI basic and advanced in Maui, rescue and divemaster in LA. Worked my way through the first couple years of college divemastering boats out to the channel islands and assisting instructors with students. What a blast, except I'd always get seasick. Believe it or not, you get used to getting sick after a while! Haven't been in 4 years though, boy do I miss it....

You would not by chance know an online site with Georgia collection laws would you. I have the rules for Florida and have both Florida and Georgia fishing lisences.

Certified scince 1982, and man am I getting old. However I was only 12 when I got certified so I'm not that old. Was just diving this weekend. I caught a juvinile Spanish Hog Fish, a few neon gobies and a small school of purple/blue Chromis. All are doing well and eating. I won't add any fish for a while after that load.

PADI since 1994. Best week in my life was my Honeymoon when my wife and I did it 4 times a day in the Grand Caymans. Twice a day off a boat and 2 times from shore. One of those shore dives would happen around 9:30 each night. You'd be surprised what comes out at night.

I have been diving since '97. my wife and I have dove fiji, Maui(Molokini crater was awesome) and Montery Bay.

If anyone reading this who is not certified and wants to be....stop waiting. I can only think of one or two things in my life that I like to do more than dive.....
