I am an authority on sushi as well as everything reef lol. The larger of the 2 types of sushi roe available are from salmon and the small almost pinpoint size eggs are flying fish roe. They are both day glow orange. However, I have no idea what it would do to your fish.

John,

Eggs are tasty so the fish likes them. I would use it as a fun treat instead of constant food. If you research a little on the composition of it(deano chime in for the composition link), you will find out it contains a lot more cholestro than krill and less protein than krill. I would rather use my home made krill as day to day food.

Hey all,

I like to use the exact same fish eggs too 2 or 3 times a week. I usually mix them with other foods (mysis, prime reef, form 1, cyclopeeze and laver) to provide a balance. I would definitely not use them as a staple but when I get new fish I find that a little extra fat in a tasty package seems to help them get comfortable. :)
