I am running this group buy as a member and not as a vendor as we (HOF) do not have access to this at the wholesale level. The GB will run just as it did last year with the prices to be updated once I get info from the vendor.

Cyclopeeze (approximate cost per block is $37.50 for 750g)
Mysis (e.pacifica) ($26 per block - for 2.5 kilos)
Regular Mysis ($25 per block 2.5 kilos)
Frozen Krill - ($25 per block 2.0 kilos)

These are general prices that WILL change based on final order, block size from the factory etc.

I will be keeping track of this in the first post and will have clearer numbers/prices once we finalize the order, include shipping and paypal fees et. I am hoping to deliver this to the Fall Fragswap as we did last year - a great way to get your food. As soon as the fragswap is defined, I'll start taking final orders - come back often for info and updates.

Jim

P.E. Mysis Shrimp

PE MYSIs It's a freshwater Mysis (Mysis relicta). This eliminates the possibility of parasite or disease transfer to marine fish. Also, it has been lab tested for all of the primary disease that can occur in shrimp species and shown negative results.

[*]As fish don't need to eliminate excess salt, it's easier on their systems. Most other brands offer a coastal, or marine cousin of Mysis relicta.
[*]PE MYSIS are alive on harvest (due to our unique system).
[*]That's why PE MYSIS is clean and intact
[*]It is immediately flash frozen in this premium condition.
[*]There are no binding agents, fillers or water added
[*]PE MYSIS is nutritionally complete. It does not require the addition of vitamin or color enhancement products.

Jim,

I'd like 1 PE mysis.
Also, can you get me Krill, like last time? If so, I'll take one.
Finally, do they have any angel formula type food (with sponge)? That's my main need for buying from Drs Foster & Smith. If they do, I'd skip that order.

Michael

As I understand it, only 1 company produces Cyclop-eeze (in all forms).
google-boy is getting a little rusty. i didnt ask if they are from the same company, i asked if there is a difference between them, as all else being equal, i would think the dry forms are easier to use than the frozen form(saves the freezer space and the whole hassle of breaking a piece off and melting it etc)

I'm sorry, I must've missed the above in your previous post

If you're questioning nutritional value, I doubt anyone would know better than the company 'manufacturing' the product itself; hence the link. If ease of use or saving storage space is a deciding factor in feeding Cyclop-eeze, then common sense points to the dry forms of the product. But you've already stated that's what you thought.

just spoke to them. she wasnt really sure, she "imagines" that one might lose "a little bit" of nutritional value in the freeze-drying process, but "not much"
