Kalk, summer in CA LFS scene is a slow time. Kalk, summer in CA wholesale is a slow time. Those are both facts as us CA resdients know them. As for your state and others dunno, but they sure do stop buying like they do in better months

I took a peak again at SunPets second quarter board.
Other then week thirteen[22% off} and week nine,{26%} their sales are within ten percent of the rest of the year.
Perhaps California wholesalers jinx themselves?
They import less in the Summer and with less inventory ..........
Cause a self imposed drop in sales ?
Some have remarked that the west coast sound desperate this time of year.
Perhaps its the western sales peoples lack of confidence that yields the low results?

Doesnt really matter where were going as long as Im driving it all be exciting! Plus its 5.55 am here!
My last two week ends have been records sales , not sure why .
But I am beginning to like the "slow" season 8)

We have been busier than normal for tis time of year too. And oddly enough most of the extra sales have been in marine fish (my store is full line). I still say pond stuff has a lot to do with sunpet's summer numbers though.

In far away Australia...and among the Queensland fisherfolk communities, its not only permissable to be sarcastic...but expected. 8O
I was abused by these people for 6 straight months in collecting boats and any hint of sensitivity or plea for let up would be met with double the attitude and put downs.
To become accepted into the tribe one must respect them enough to blend in and learn their ways...
However, it would appear that learning their ways is a handicap in the rest of the world...including Australian cities South of Brisbane. :lol:

In slow times...which everyone knows it is , people have too much time on their hands while waiting for customers.
This wandering of mind and spirit has evidenced itself here already by the thread drifting off this very serious topic. :lol:
As the other current 5 topics are way more important, this one is more of the recreation room of the moment...and not to be taken seriously.
