  1. 2 MagDrive 9.5s ok in a 10g Sump?

For your design you need an overflow or to drill a hole in the sump for the pump. The pump won't pull the water out and over the wall of the sump. I suggest drilling a hole and putting in a bulk head, then connecting the pump to that.
  2. Help solve a murder!!

That is a start, live rock breaks down nitrates but if you use bio balls with it, they produce nitrates that will not get to the bacteria as quick and easy as if it was produced from the live rock. The crushed coral can be a problem also, it lets detrius since and bacteria converts to nitrate...
  3. Help solve a murder!!

Am I hearing you right, you have nitrates in your topoff and change water? If so that is a big problem. If not the nitrates are high, slowly remove the bio balls and add live rock rubble. That should help a bit.
  4. Oceanic salt revisited...

It is made for them by the company that makes Red Sea salt. BUT it is not Red Sea salt, it is made to Oceanic's specifications and much different than Red Sea salt. That is the technical and verbose answer, the simple one is this is not relabled salt from some one else it is Oceanic's own salt.

If you get a good look it is easy to tell if it is a porcelain crab. You will note the 3 sets of legs pair of claws and in front it will have little legs with hairs that look alot like nets. It will flare them out and back catching particles in the water column. The claws on crabs like this...
  6. Help!!!!

You mentioned the anemone moved from the "rock" it came on. How big was that rock, and any others the corals came in on? Maybe they were big enough to cause a mini cycle with the die off you get from moving live rock.
  7. Coral Beauties and corals?

Hit and miss, heard these tend to be more on the miss side. But some still do fine. Also it depends on the corals as well.
  8. MH lighting

Depends also on the tank type and wattage of the bulb. If you are running an acrylic tank you want to be at least 6 " on a 175, 8 on 250 and 10 on a 400watt.
  9. Coral ID

Looks alot like a carnation to me also.
  10. Marc Weiss

I bought a bottle and been using it and do not see any difference. Do not plan on getting another bottle when it runs out. For the money it costs I should be noticing a difference by now and I am not. I vote snake oil.
  11. Additives, Do you need them?

Tad new to this whole thing and using some additives like Iodine, Strontium, and Magnesium and coral accel from Kent. I am likely to drop the coral accel, and I am unsure I should be bothering with the strontium, magnesium or iodine. When I get a good routine of water changes the salt should...

www.joesjuice.com Give it a try, stuff works the little Aptasia love the taste of it, but it kills them. I killed off 2 in my tank with it, I figured wasting time and messing around would put me in a bad spot.
