its not because of solvent or anything like that.. at worst it would be from a rag that had bar soap on it - nothing harsh... and it isnt age cause the tank is only a couple months old.... I'm thinking it would be oily buildup and not damage- I Think it would come off with a polishing wheel...

oh yeah, almost forgot... the plastic "rim" or whatever you call it at the top is more than an inch thick on all sides so any hang on equipment you might have will require you to cut out a section of the rim for it to fit... not a big deal, but annoying.... really annoying if you already have...

I've got a little problem with the outside of my acrylic tank - its all hazy all of a sudden, i think i might have used a rag that had some soap (like bar soap - dial) on it and now it has a haze i just cant get off... any ideas? I tried a rag with some dawn and it may have helped a little but...
