You need the venturi attachment for the powerhead to work. You can get these at Premium Aquatics. They are very cheap. I use one on my CPR and the skimmer really skims. I have more expensive skimmers on other tanks and this one is better than some of those. PS. I just looked on Premium...

A 35 gallon tank? Your tang died of depression. That is too small of a tank to house a tang.

I would think the clown would be irritating it. I had clowns host in a huge leather and the leather finally stopped opening. Once I removed the clowns the leather opened again....coincidence?

I have one that lives in a a big stalk of xenia. This was wild caught xenia and the stalk is very thick (unlike my captive raised). It really resembles a anemone.

Jeff: I'll bet you have zooanthids in your tank? If that is the case, zooanthids will cause black spots on your clownfish. I have clowns that live in a big sarcopyhton that has zooanthids all around the base. The clowns got the black spots from the zooanthids. My clowns have had these spots...

#1 Question: Just because you get a pair, and two juveniles will pair, does not mean they will spawn in captivity. I have had a pair for 6 years and they have never once spawned. Just my .02
