I always thought that the ultimate question you have to ask yourself when bringing a lawsuit is "what do I have to gain?" In this case the answer is most likely nothing. Even if you can win this suit - it is a very expensive one. Good luck. -Travis

In my opinion definately use a good wood glue, screws are way better than nails, 2x4 aren't neccessary but use them if it will help you sleep at night. This stand was built using pocket screws and biscuit joints out of furniture grade yellow pine 1x's.

I work part-time in a seafood market. We sell lake smelts. They are freshwater not marine source. I am not sure if they would contain the same nutritional value as a marine source. I believe freshwater is dirtier than salt as more bacteria can survive. I am curious if marine fishes immune...

I was recently considering purchasing a long nose hawk about the same size as the one you have in mind. According to my lfs he will eat shrimp of any size by digging his mouth down into them. I wouldn't try it if it were up to me.
