Prob starting to be a pain in the a$$ but I have another question..... was looking at the cheato in my filter and I'm noticing tons of little pod looking objects. What is it? Is it normal?

Ok few more questions... what is that growing on my zoas? They have been in the tank since Sunday night, should they be open by now? The corals that have polyps will open\close throughout the day.

That's aiptasia.
A pest. Should be removed before it spreads throughout the tank.

And BTW those are not zoas.
They are candy canes.

Any suggestions on how to remove the aiptasia? Reading so many different things online.

I've personally used peppermint shrimp but they're hit or miss as I'm sure you've read. Go with aiptasia x or joes juice

I've tried aipstasia X but the needle doesn't get in them unless they are out in the open. I've lately just been covering them with Epoxy

Hey how did that work for you? I have been thinking of doing that on some rocks.

Or dipping in peroxide if it is a rock where my coral won't be affected.

Question for all... want to upgrade my tank piece by piece. In your opinions, what order should I do upgrades.... lights, skimmer, rodi unit... ??
