The location is great, it's right off of Northern blvd. This was a great place to go. Tommy always had the best corals and healthiest fish and the best suppliers. Tommy buddy, like I told you, I'm real sad to see you get out of the hobby. I know how much time, money and effort you put into the place. Personally, I think $50k for your place and your contacts is a gift.

it was in a bad location in my opinion. I have been there but years ago. I would say they had a good selection but too far from the beat and track. Its a shame becuz stores like petland and petco have mostly terrible marine husbandry. I would like to know if any lighting or equipment sales are in the offering? Maybe to raise the sale price of the business they should have a auction of the store. If they set resonable prices for remaining stock they could make out better as its unlikely that anyone will front 50k and assume a lease in that area. Something to think about! MR members are constantly monitering the for sale/trade area for deals. I for one am on every day to feed my reef addiction.

Another new member trying to make a spectacle of himself or is it an old member who is trying to start trouble? To invest ONLY 50k into a business that you can profit from in the first year in a prime location like flushing with DIRT CHEAP rent and water included is nearly IMPOSSIBLE. This comes with existing clients and great suppliers that I have dealt with for years and have great relationships with. You are not starting a new business with nothing. I also put 75k into the place when I started it just putting it together. My price is extremely cheap and well worth it. It is fully operational and ready to walk in the door and take ownership. Please keep your opinions to yourself since you obviously have no idea what you are talking about but thanks for the bump.

yep, that's what i thought when i saw the store for the first time. It has the feeling of an underground type of biz. But under the right conditions i can see the potential for it to become the store to go in flushing. Cause fishtown is definitely on the decline.
