These are some new frags and some full tank shots of my 30g. One of them is somewhat bleached, hopefully it will color up soon. Anyone got any ideas on what they are.

Thanks. Yeah, I made it so that one side would be better for softies and one side would be better for the SPS. I had another 55 watt PC on that side but me rushing I just happened to knock the bulb out of the clips, it fell in the water. Bulb is bad now. Just waiting for a little extra $$ to pick one up. Everything seems to be doing well so far.

The coral I think is bleached is between the small toadstool and the bubble coral on the sand. It's almost right under the bluish/green mushroom.

Take a close up of the coral you like to know what there name is and the bleaching coral.

Very nice tank.. It doesn't look like any space is wasted.. :D :D

So are you still using the 10K XM? I think I am gonna stay with mine, for now. I just need to change one of my T5 Aquablue to Actinic to get more color for my zoos.

Haven't gotten any fish yet? Or are they are shy..

Thanks spykes, the two smaller caps I just got a little while back, but the other one I picked up a few months ago. Has grown a little bit.

jay, the penny looking thing is the bottom of a turbo snail that died and the rubber band is holding a gorg. in place.

By the way the bleached coral is making good progress IMO. I'll post so updated pics of it.

Well today I guess I just had WAY to much time on my hands so I did some work with the tanks. I rescaped my 30 so that it would be all my SPS on one side and the softies on the other side. This also kind of what sparked my nano tank. I took out a few big pieces of base rock to allow for more flow and to have more place for my corals.
Heres some pics of new scaping.

Kris your doing a great job so far. Just keep your water very clean (like you're doing now) and you'll have nothing but success with SPS. All the upgrades you can do in the future will only help you keep great water parms much easier.

I'm willing to sacrifice movement for color :D
but i am seriously considering putting a RBTA in the new tank. I love the color on them and they do sway a lot in the current.

lol...Rich thats hard to believe. I would like to get an anemone too but I'm scared with such a small tank it could turn out really bad if it decides to take a tour of the tank. Spyro's RBTA's have nice color when I saw them at his house.

I was just stareing at the tank and the SPS half looks a lot "neater". I like it more now. That damn SPS bug bit me yesterday...still got the bite mark.

Anyone got any advice for taking xenia off of a rock? Its on my biggest piece of rock that is one of my favorite pieces. You think I could take it out of the tank and chisel off the xenia and just put the xenia in the 2.5?
