hey rich your in trouble man, chris 288's tank is getting close to your colors
and mike is getting high growth.
Rich, I think he got that backwards... mike has the colors, I got the growth... maybe we both got some of each? My colors look 10X better than they were, but I still need a touch more. PO4. Also, this was probably the first time Spykes came over my house and didn't insult me the whole time. He was actually impressed with the colors and growth and only stated that he hated my sand bed.
Either way, I'm going to stomp his chinese a$$ into the ground next time I see him for the newbie comment.

Shaun that was just a phase that I grew out of in a hurry :D Since everything is healthy and growing my next step will be an attempt to clean up my rocks. I am going to add a HUGE clean up crew and manually remove whatever fuzz, hydroids, aptasais, and whatever crap that I find. I want to get me some pink Kedd rocks :D

I'm so happy you got away from the LPS/softie thing. No offense to those who go softie/LPS, we all have those things we like. If it were up to my wife, I'd have a tank of zoos, galaxy corals and xenia. Rich NEEDS SPS. We gotta get steve next. Colored sticks rule. Clean your hairy a$$ rocks. I'll give you some of mine.

I made a few changes. I have been doing more water changes. 20gals every 2 weeks. I am running more phosban, adding new carbon every 2 weeks, and changing micron bags every other day. I also added a cleanup crew of about 40 mexican turbos. I got tired of the sand getting all over the corals so I siphioned most of it out with my water changes :). I have notice a huge improvement in growth since making these changes and the rocks are starting to clear up of that damn turf algae. That big tort colony on the right is not mine :( Just holding for a friend ;) Excuse the dirty glass.
