Yes, we all have different levels of nutrients in our reefs. The way the term nutrients is used on all the reef websites basically makes it a level of waste, not like a vitamin the body needs

I have lots of that with over 50 fish in my "system".

Here are some pictures of what I called a big mess in my basement.

Fishroom right behind the tank, the two 75 gallon tanks are used for quarintine, holding, and water changes

Back of the 150 reef, you can see the two Luminarc 3 over the tank

The twin beckett Barr Aquatic skimmer and a custom made calcium reactor

100 gal sump with filter socks and some LR for additional filtration

40 gal refugium with a 4 inch sandbed and lit with a 55W PC 10 hours a day

The taller one is a reefmania media reactor with carbon in it and shorter one is used for phosban, I use about a gallon of carbon a month and 300gm of phosban. The tank behind them is a surge device for my prop tank(pool). The round blue drum in the corner is a 35 gallon RO\DI tank for top off
