Our discussion is about the EcoTech Coral Lab project and focuses on the experiences Patrick and Trina have had while converting the lighting in their wholesale operation to LED fixtures. New Prototype Expansion Card Allows Mitras LEDs to Talk to ProfiLux Controllers

There not a whole bunch of information in this announcement, but GHL has teased their customer base with an image of a prototype expansion card for their ProfiLux line of aquariun controllers. Called the PLM-PWC, this new card will allow the controller to wirelessly communicate with the GHL Mitras LX LED fixture, allowing for all of the standard functions and even a few special ones like thunderstorms and maintenance modes. The new card won’t be available until Autumn, but will be a welcome site for Mitras/Profilux users who yearn for that added control and functionality. No pricing has been set forth as of yet, after all, this product is still in the prototype phase.
