very nice looking set up. if i hade the $$$ to do that i would go with the large angels like the blue face and the queen angels along with some of the non reef safe wrasses. you could also put in some lions. even though none of the fish above are reef safe i think they would look cooler then a fully stocked reef tank. this is just my opinion but when i have people come over who now nothing about reef tanks the fish thing they coment aobut are the fish. and then they ask what type of plants are thoes. the big angeles are just so awsome looking

There are already a bunch of snails (like 300) some stars as well.

The plan is to keep zones of corals with mixes where possible.

As far as fish I don't know yet but it looks like I would need a big sialfin.

That is awesome. Makes my little 80 look so small. But, my koi pond out back still has you beat at 7000 gallons.

Hey,

Was checking out your site, it doesn't seem to have any updated pics for a while, i was just wondering how it was going, and if you had any updated pics and info (what kinds of fish etc) thanks!

Actually it would make a nice freshwater guppy tank! I wonder how big they make the bubbling divers...

I wonder if you could make this tank self sufficient? If you made half a full blown reef (sps at the top, as the elevation goes down you put softies) and the other half could be a refugium of sorts with seagrasses and macroalgae. Hmmm... So many possibilities but with a tank this large i would try to do something that not many people have done before.
