Nope, have never seen them.

9" is too big for either of my tanks, tho. Too bad. Looks like a great reef fish...

Peace,

Chip

Every time I see them for sale they're only about 1.5" long. So you'd have some time.

I think I'll add a Sargassum Trigger to my list of fish. Personally, I think that Sargassum's are prettier than Crosshatch's, and they're about $400 - $500 less money.

I don't think I have ever seen either for sale here at any of my LFS's.

Blue jaws are even cheaper, and way cooler looking IMO.

My LFS had a Bluejaw in stock today. I wasn't familar with them, so I passed it up.

According to The Marine Center, Hawaian specimen are far superior to Philippine ones. Got no idea which speciman my LFS has and I am quite sure he won't know where they are from (meaning the are from the Philippines, I think.)

I may go back tomorrow and pick him up.

I guess the thing that makes it the Best is that I got to interact with the fish. I could hold it, pet it and hand feed it. :D

I didnt have the pleasure of seeing the aggressiveness, My purple tang kick its a$$ and kept it in the corner of the tank for three days.
The pinktail was an aggressive eater and I had to sorta fight with it to get my hand in to feed the fish. After a couple of pokes and a silverside it would leave me alone to feed the rest

I had it in with a big Red Sea lunare wrasse, an 8" sohal tang, a 6" harlequin tusk, and a 7"+ miniatus grouper. It was the king of the tank until I put him in my new triggerfish tank with my undulate, blueline, queen, clown and titan. :)

Peace,

Chip

Hi, my name is WRASSER and Chip, and I want you to get an ugly triggerfish that may or may not eat all your small fish and terrorize the others. One is grey, and the other is dull green. There's another that's brown with some lighter brown mixed in. All will cost you a lot of money.

Hi, my name is Matt. I want you to get a cool looking trigger that won't bother your other fish, is very affordable, and looks really cool. Did I mention it looks really cool?
