lighting question!

what do you guys think i should do as far as the t5's? i have white ones now which are useless, and i need blue ones all around.. so thats 3 in the front and 3 in the rear.... Anyway I can add figi purple light ? how could i configure the t5 lighting? maybe the purple in the middle and blues on outside? or just blue all around, im lost!

The check valve you have is in a good spot, the problem is its not VERTICAL!!!!! Check valves will not work when they are not straight up and down. Understand??

Also its prob not a good idea to have your return pump slammed against the wall. There is a fan there which cools the motor and needs to breathe.

I understand, I def should put one right under the tank then!
the pump does have a little room, I check it everyday for heat issues in case....

I have 3-400watt sunlight supply fixtures w ice cap ballasts and ushio 14k bulbs I believe
then there are 2- 24 watt t5s on the side of each sunlight supply fixture... If you look back on pg 1 and 2 you will get a really good idea of the setup

Thats not bad! I really love real though,, not sure.. I may do the stacked stone like you posted or mosaic.... not too sure yet.. (i do that work myself so it shouldn't be too impossible i hope! i do have to make some access panels for small storage and what not

yes 2 per pendant... kind of just for show.. i really don't think they do much to the actual corals do they? plus they have a thick plastic sheath! ill post pix in a bit...

thank you! I used ESV coarse grade large sand.. im not sure how this will work.. I do want it cause of the strong flow I plan.. But I have heard its a nightmare so i'll see how it works, or i will take it out and replace it..

I'll try to get some more pix tomorrow.. I have a pair of crosshatch triggers, 3 yellow tangs, and three chromis I just added.. Along w 12 emrald crabs, 5 cleaner shrimp and various snails.. working on getting a few more fish...

Thanx to everyone that is helping me out! Still a way to go..

SOME QUESTIONS
Okay.. Problems... I adjusted the filter socks.. Took out that old piece w/ small socks and added 7 inch socks w. velcro.. They are sticking out of the water a bit to reduce splash,, is this ok?

Lighting: I have 14k ushio bulbs w 6 24 watt aqua plus blu.. The t5's do nothing.. look like a very very dim blue.. does not color up my corals at all.. My fixture is 2 ft from the water.. I though of adding a 1 inch strip of LEDS suspended in the tank (flush) on each long side... and using a tab to hold it inside the tank.. (that make sense?) I can get two 3 ft fixtures on each side.. or hopefully can get a 2 6 ft ones made up.

sand... sux to clean it.. its more like gravel.. my snails do burrow through it.. Im thinking w. the tunzes i may have a chance..

Algae.. way too much on the glass everyday.. i bought a great white magnet and its way too powerful on my 3/4 glass.. i will down grade to a tiger shark.. Is this algae somewhat temp? (hope its just still part of the cycle!)

Flow: I am using 4 1200 mjs modded for now (under 200 bux) and will replace w tunze soon as i get cash)

things to do: fix lighting, more cheato and sand in fuge..
what to do w/ the 75 gallon that was suppose to be used as a frag tank? just place more cheato in? not sure yet.. add some splash guards to sock area.. buy another 300 wt jaber heater
BTW, tank comes no where near overflowing now when system is off..
