thanx guys, its been a lot of work, i hope to get some pix by the end of the week.. I have very little sand left to remove and a lot of new carib sea special floor grade sand to add.. Going to add a shallow sand bed and then plug in a ton of frags.

The tank is looking great so far bro..sorry to hear that Rich Yang was the installer he did a sloppy job and he's a total douche! He had a store in Astoria for a little while but he went out of business very fast..gee I wonder why? Anyway man keep up the good work and try adding some colonies, little 1" frags are going to look stupid lol. I hope all is well now seeing as this has been such a headache. I feel your pain man you don't even wanna know what I have been going through with my 4 tanks. It will all be worth it in the end it's a cool tank and you can see every angle of it which is rare and the best way to do it. Good luck man I hope to see it sometime in the future.

with a tank and house like that it looks like you have some coin. do you have a power outage plan? a buddy of mine just installed a whole house generator which is pretty sweet. just saying, to fill that tank with corals and fish will cost serious money so u gotto think of everything.
what size are the fuge and sump in the basement? maybe u could post some detailed pics of the guts of this system

I must have put in 10 hrs alone yesterday just on removing sand... Radium 20k should be here tomorrow.... almost all of the sand is gone, next video the tank should be bare bottom.

why did you take the sand out? Its give it such a better natural look You need to play around with the aqua scape as well. Are you getting good flow as well in the tank?

it was like gravel, not sand... i like the rock work,, it will be three islands... i see the final product, all corals filling the tank and center box covered as well is what I would like to happen.

Some updates, pix and a vid.. I added carib sea floor grade sand, some corals, some fish (a lot more fish in qt, will be added in 2 weeks)
I still dont have the skimmer nor the calc reactor hokked up.. im changing 50g every other week, I plan to do the same when I hook up the skimmer and calc reactor as well
******* Most important is to cover the overflow box, ill be creating a wall for it soon

Latest additions and updates
got the skimmer working thanx to Seth! hes the man... Added a powder brown, powder blue a small wrasse and a male crosshatch trigger

everything is great, fish get along great, so far so good.. now i just have to decide whether to get a dosing system w/ b ionic or calcium reactor.. no idea which way to go

thanx guys.. im dreading working on using jb welb and rocks around the overflow.. maybe i'll start that project soon.. I looked into making rock walls, but i think the rock wrapped around it will look much better
