Hey, If you are starting out, by far the best thing to do would be to buy a good quality book, they'll explain everything (how long to wait for the tank to cycle, fish descptions, diseaes etc.) get a book BEFORE you get any fish, this way you will save yourself some money and the fish will have...

Emilyb, I guess they are still not a "normal" shop per se... but they are usually around when you call, they run it out of their house in the basement, so for the most part they should be their..the good thing is when u do go, u usally are the only ones there so u get good attention..check it...

Yuppers, tails and scales does have reef...not too much though..only one 150gal tank, i haven't my self researched prices for corals much but i suspect he is just as competetive with corals as with his fish!! If he doesn't have it in, he is usually happy to get it for you, as he orders in...

Hey Mitch, The only ones i have heard of people moding would be the seaclone...and that had to do with altering the length of the inner chanmber to get more buble exposure time, or something to that effect.

When i get the sump hooked up on the 80, the distance between the sump and the 7gal will be about 3-5feet, I didn't think you could get those 7gal drilled, cause of the class being thinner the normal tanks..

Hey, Just wondering what the best way to do this would be (simplist)..I am thinking of hooking it up to the 80, this way the water will be more stable, and it will add more water volume to the entire system. Btw its the 7gal aga bowfront one. Thanks.
