more...they seem to be showing signs of growth...

actually..the red mushroom group grew in about 2 weeks from a rock i bought from "that fish place" that consisted of 2 medium sized mushrooms. i tore this rock free from the main mushrooms and placed this on the other side of the tank for even color dispersion. at this rate i am going to be crying about overgrowth quite soon. 8O

a few more pics...below are the "proud parents" of that red shroom rock, which are about softball sized.
also is a zoo rock, which you really can't make out, but there are some of the most beautifully colored zoos all clumped together on that rock i got from that guy with the stinky nano.
i really need a decent camera, and/or photography lessons :?

and another shot of our mandarin...who needs his stomach stapled! 8O

and some green zoos from the same stinky nano tank that my camera doesn't do justice. :?

80 degrees is fine. Just make sure it stays as constant as possible. Make sure your heater keeps it at 80 during the night. But if you still want to lower the temp, raise your MH a bit more. ;)

Fromias have been known to kick the bucket sometimes for being a little touchy/hard to keep.

And are you sure that it's a favia? :)

Oh, I didn't mean to say it wasn't. I just am not sure. Favias, micromussas, acans and some others sometimes look pretty similar to me. Someone else could definitely tell you better, though. ;)

thanks for the reply BT. yeah, check out that crazy colt in the middle ALREADY. i was just running out of places to put things.
plus, i don't know for sure the amount of live rock i have compared to gallons of water, so i just wanted to make sure it was enough.

Looks nice X. On hte previous page you ahve a coral named Candy, I believe, and I might be wrong as I usually am, that it looks like a blasto not a caulastrea. Not sure though, but looks like my blastos. Nice tank though, love the rock work.

i hope i don't lose anything.

Same colors I have on my blastos.

As far as temp goes, just make sure when you lower the temp you do it gradually, don't just throw a huge bag of ice in there lol. Nothing good happens quick in a fish tank. Try raising your lights a bit or add a fan if you don't already have one. It is supposed to be 90 this weekend here, so A/c will be infull effect here.

Looks very damn nice X. I like the addition. 85 Degree's X Hummm maybe you should give me some of your Corals to take care of just in case they over heat. LOL Maybe your rock is holding in the heat. You know when it's summer time and you can feel the heat from a brick building at night because it absorbers the day's sunlight?? Maybe your running to many watt's with your Science project? Was it running that Hot before the new rock tower? Then again it is getting warmer here in philly ....outside temp wise.
